My Fish in Oklahoma

When we were out fishing on the Fort Gibson River I had NO luck whatsoever. But the next day when we went fishing at the lake I was catchin fish left and right. I would throw a worm into the shallows and bring in a fish. At one point I threw into some dead bush and when I finally pulled my lure out from the bush I had a 3 1/2 pounder. The reason that we were catchin so many fish was because we found a bass haven. It was basically a forest, just filled with trees, and the the lake was a little flooded so the trees were in 2 or 3 feet of water. We reeled in countless number of fish off of this hole
.This was the Fish I cought in the bush.

Better Luck Next Week

We went out to Sardis Lake today and boy was I disappointed. First we didn't catch a single fish. Second we nearly capsize a dozen times, because there were 4 or 5 ft. swells. ( It was like a scene from Deadliest Catch on the discovery channel). But the only good thing is that there was a front coming through so that might explain why we didn't catch any fish. Hopefully there will be better luck next time when we fish the tournament for real.

High Wind At Sardis Lake

Today Aaron the Average Fisherman and myself, went to Sardis Lake in Mississippi to pre fish for the Saint Jude Bass Classic. Although we didn't have much luck fishing today. While we were on the lake a storm came up the storm swells were at least 3 feet.

Hopefully we can get some fishing in this week before the classic.
