Cloudless Rain

Earlier this week Darren The Average Fisherman and I went fishing at Glenn Springs, due to the unlucky fishing experience the day before. We went to the lake as soon as I got home from school. We were fishing at one of our faithful crappie holes, but to no avail. We had several bites but they jumped off before we could set the hook. So we decided to let the wind, which was 10x calmer than the night before, push us nearer to our other crappie hole, when suddenly it started to rain sporadically. And what was totally bizarre about it was that there were no clouds. We were both wondering where this rain was coming from it. It only lasted a few minutes but it was off and on.

We didn't have much luck that day, but we figured it was because of the cold weather, and then mild weather were upsetting the fishes balance. My dad caught the only fish and it was another little bass. We are gonna have to wait till it warms up and there aren't 3o or 40 mph winds to go fishing again. I only hope that the fish are gonna be biting in Oklahoma when we go in a few weeks.
